First, released in 1994, The Lion King (The Lion King) is the 43rd animated feature film and the 32nd “Animation Classic” from Disney studios. This one is largely inspired by Osamu Tezuka’s King Leo (1951) and William Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
Following its success. two sequels will be given to him: The Lion King 2: The Honor of the Tribe (1998) and The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata (2004). These released straight to video, along with two spin-off television series, Timon and Pumbaa (1995-1998) and The Lion Guard (2016-). In addition, a musical The Lion King, created on Broadway in 1997 was also a success.
