First, Tinkerbell is a character created by J. M. Barrie in 1904. And in her play Peter Pan she bears the name of Tinker Bell, translated in France by Tinn-Tamm. She also appears in the many works adapted or derived from Barrie’s play. Secondly, the character of “Clochette” is present with Walt Disney, under the name of Tinkerbell (Tinker Bell in the original version). And she’s played by Ludivine Sagnier in P. J. Hogan’s Peter Pan movie. In the movie Hook or Captain Hook’s Revenge (1991), she is in love with Peter Pan and the only wish she has made for herself is to be a normal size, so she can kiss Peter Pan.
