First, the unicorn is a horse-like creature of legends, which has a single horn on its forehead. It’s for this characteristic that this creature is called an unicorn. It has been one of many fantastic and magical stories since the end of the 19th century. In medieval western bestiaries, she is described as a symbol of purity and grace that is attracted to virgins. In the legends, hunters use a young girl to capture this very ferocious wild animal.
It is found in several literary and cinematographic works such as On the other side of the mirror by Lewis Carroll, The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle, to name only these… Nowadays, she is perceived as a large white horse having magical powers with a horn in the middle of her forehead. It is such a popular creature that it is also seen in more childish forms in “My Little Pony” or the game “Robot Unicorn Attack”.
