First, a fairy is a creature found in legends, most often female. This being generally endowed with great beauty is capable of giving gifts to newborns. Sometimes we add mermaids and nymphs under the category of “fairies”. The name “fairies” is also used to refer to goblins, dwarfs and elves.
The fairies have an origin of the medieval Occident, they have very varied roles. Some heal, guide people or provide them with enchanted weapons. Generally possessing magical faculties, they like to disguise themselves and could modify the environment around them.
