First, Oktoberfest takes place in Germany, mainly in Munick. It is a celebration that honors beer which begins on a Saturday at the end of September and ends on the first Sunday of October, it is spread over sixteen to eighteen days. The Original Oktoberfest takes place near the center of Munich, on a 42-hectare site known as Theresienwiese “Theresa’s Meadow”.
Oktoberfest is the biggest carnival in the world. For some years Canada and the United States have been trying to replicate this holiday during the month of October.
