Chocobo, a French doodler
Chocobo, une gribouilleuse française

Graduated in architecture, I like to cook, draw, and tinker with objects from small to large scale

Corine, what is your artistic style? I’m still looking for it, but if “gribouillis” or “crabouillage” is a style, I think it fits =)
What is your favourite character? Mh… the tiny white Totoro who follows Totoro everywhere =) or the chocobo, with which I am identified when I run through the meadows making little noises (me, crazy?)
What type of platform do you work on? Anything that looks like paper: notebook, old draft, open envelopes, … with a pencil, eraser, and possibly a felt pen (when I’m motivated) and when I’m really motivated, I take my little wacom bamboo which is already almost 10 years old 😉

What is your favorite kind of music? I often listen to fip, precisely because it’s quite eclectic, and besides, I don’t have to choose what I’m going to listen to =P
A particular artist or group? The Do fascinates me… but I have just come out of a Walk Of The Earth period, they are excellent!
Do you have a muse photographer? uh… my lover? (https://www.flickr.com/photos/neotrinos/ pub !)
joking aside, I’m quite a fan of Natsumi Hayashi’s work (http://yowayowacamera.com/) and if you want to be amazed, Mandy Lee of ladyandpups manages to make everything around her look appetizing (https://www.instagram.com/ladyandpups/)
Do you have a favorite visual artist? Does Boulet count (http://www.bouletcorp.com/) ? comics are visual =)
What are your favorite movies? Mh… Ratatouille ? Good Morning England ? le Rocky Horror Picture Show ? Vicky Christina barcelona ? Django Unchained ? It’s quite eclectic too, and I admit to having a lot of gaps in my classics… but I’m working on it, I’m working on it!
Preferences for writers? Haruki Murakami, without hesitation. David Foenkinos accompanied me for a while, at the same time as Mathias Malzieu. I had a Bernard Werber phase, and I have just discovered Joël Dicker. But Murakami remains a safe bet for me.
